I arrived at the clinic around 8:00 or 8:30. They would be happy to have me sleep here. Elder Babcock would too.
Elder Babcock’s math for Dr. Rivas was better today: 100-5 = 95.
We saw the physical therapist who worked with Ken the most in UCI, for the first time in a long time, and she was really impressed not only that he walked the circle and then climbed the 20 stairs to the first floor and then exercised, but also that he was so unswollen. I think she was surprised that he is so thin normally.
Daylight saving time ends tonight in Chile and clocks are set back an hour. The only problem will be for a while in the hospital. The nights have been long for him without me. Procedures continue until 10:30 or 11:00. While all of Chile was lively, Elder Babcock thought it was time to sleep. I left him tonight with the clock changed and the light on and I brought him a dictionary to read as well as his Book of Mormon. He also says he gets hungry before breakfast comes, so I saved some food from supper for him to eat later.
I told the family: It would be great for Elder Babcock to have new email and blogs for tomorrow. He seems way more eager for current blogs than older ones that remind him how much he has forgotten.
