Today we drive to Temuco for a control with Dr. Rivas, the
neurologist. Control seems to be the name of a follow up appointment.
I am hoping we will get permission to eliminate one medication and
decrease another. It is hard to know if side effects are worth the
benefits.
It has been raining off and on all morning after raining steadily all night. The elders called to check on us last night, thinking that our power was out. They live only three or four blocks away, and had no power. Fortunately we were okay. I guess they had power a couple of days ago when we didn't. Missionaries here are really challenged by being out in the wet and cold and dark.
Being in has its own challenges. I am trying to be diligent in exercise, scripture reading, piano keyboard practice and family communication. I decided that means I need to be more diligent in blogging. It probably means I need to do a better job of communicating with my husband. We need to figure out good things we can do together. I think my next missionary goal will be to complete the city map for Curacautin that we were working on when Ken got sick.
