This morning we have
another trip to the clinic. I hope we can communicate with this doctor
and that he can communicate well with us. I have been trying to
understand Chilean TV here. There is a home and craft and cooking channel
that is pretty easy to follow with lots of visual demonstrations. I am
impressed with how simple and inexpensive some of the crafts are.
I took a long walk yesterday morning looking for a store that supposedly has cheaper food supplements, but there was a for sale sign on the building and no sign of a store. From there I went over to the Mapuchi market and looked for a cane or walking stick. I saw a couple, but nothing impressive enough to buy. There are artisan craft shops in Curacautin that might have something.
In the afternoon when it was slightly warmer we walked over to the mall and checked out the Jumbo restaurant and then ended up going up to the food court on the third floor. Ken got some nice salmon.
I just got a message that the Q drive is running out of space. Maybe I should delete some photos.
