Chile Mission Miracle Part 2
Tuesday, May 7
For six weeks I wore Ken's ring with mine, to keep it safe. Yesterday I put it on his finger. This morning, it is gone. He is so thin, he lost it somewhere sometime. I have retraced our steps this morning in the parking lot and hallways of the clinic, but did not find it.
We will continue to keep our eyes open here at Pewman Ruka.
We continue to have reminders that the treasures of the earth are temporary. Things are lost and stolen. Things get old and decay. Nevertheless, there are some things that endure. On the positive side, we now have a portable heater that seems to be working. On the forever side, we are together. We love each other. [The ring was never found, but he now wears my ring and bought me a new eternity ring with nine diamonds representing our nine children.]
